Fall protection in installation shafts
Falls are among the most frequent accidents in construction – in Switzerland alone over 10,000 per year. Open shafts are particularly dangerous, as temporary covers like boards or sheets are often not fall-through resistant. Suva therefore requires mandatory fall protection from 2 m.
