Fire protection cable duct
The CableShield fire protection cable ducts can be machined with standard tools.
CableShield "Standard"
The "Standard" trunking sections are 1'000mm long. The trunking bases are fastened in push-through assembly with suitable steel expansion plugs or concrete screws at a distance of ≤ 400mm to solid building components or aerated concrete building panels. For easier cable installation, commercially available separating angles or separating brackets can be used, which are attached to the fastening dowels or screw anchors. The maximum cable weight without cable support structure is 22.5 kg/m. Shaped parts are made from straight trunking sections on site and can thus be adapted to the structural conditions.
CableShield "Exclusive"
The "Exclusive" trunking sections are 1'200mm long. CableShield "Exclusive" fire protection cable trunking can be suspended with commercially available stem and bracket systems or threaded rods with support profile. A 2- or 3-sided design is also possible. The distance of the support structure must not exceed 1'200mm. After completion of the cable installation, the covers are placed loosely. Cable outlets are created by making a cut-out in the duct wall or in the cover.
Electrical - fire protection ducts
Electrical fire protection trunking separates combustible electrical installations from adjacent fire compartments and/or ensures the functional integrity of life-saving installations. Cable installations in escape and rescue routes often have to be retrofitted in fire protection cable ducts, especially during renovations or conversions.
The CableShield fire protection cable ducts protect both
-
the environment from fire and smoke from the installation duct. --> I - Classification
-
the installed cables in the installation trunking from possible fire encroachment from the outside --> E classification
The CableShield fire protection cable ducts are available with a fire resistance from EI 30 to EI 120.
